TYPE OF WORK BASE VISIT
The detachment in August and September by JG 71 "Richthofen" F-4F´s from Wittmund in
northern Germany marked the last ever to be held in Deci as retirement of the Luftwaffe´s last
Phantom looms in 2013.
Thirty-four years since the first "Deci" F-4 detachment by JG 71 "R" in May 1976, the German
F-4´s have made there "phinal" farewell to "Deci" phorever.
It´s time to say good-bye....
